Sad thing is that you cannot promise blood, sweat and tears before you win, and that is what your country really needs. You have to watch your every word, even when what you say is the right thing.

Dutch support for Barack Obama. These elections are important for Europe too:
- our global world economy
- our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq
- climate changes
- oil dependency
American citizens in Europe: please vote too!

Dear Barack,I am so happy not only because you have clinched the nomination but also for showing your greatness in helping out Hillary to pay her campaign debts and making her join forces with you: I have listened to your great speeches just now on BBC!
I am working as Missionary Doctor for the last 33 years in Africa and I am so happy and proud to see a son of Africa and USA running for President and working hard to build up a better World.
My wife Angelina(a Ugandan Nurse) and our 3 Kids are also rejoicing!
Thanks Barack, you are a beacon of hope for the World ,especially for the Countries not yet free from oppression and poverty...God bless you and your Family and all your wonderful Collaborators!
forward,Obama for President!
a BIG HUG
CARLO AND FAMILY
PS I am so sorry not to have been able to contribute to your campaign being a non-US citizen: is there any way I can do that legally?

After moving in 21st Century, humanity got stuck with the American War in Iraq, genocide in Darfur, Palestinian clashes, and the like. Barack Obama is now seen as silver lining in the dark clouds in the sky, offering hope and faith to change the world to move towards justice, peace and progress, asking American Citizens to believe in their ability to change the course of world politics. During the past two decades I have been looking for an African American who can transcend the barriers of his own national interest and embrace the world with compassion and justice for the deprived. I studied the speeches and words of Barack Obama, a prophet of our times. I believe he should become President of America to provide needed change in American politics.
Dalits in India look up to him as committed civil rights leaders, balanced in his perspectives to bring change by non-violence, as the conscience keeper of a just world and the voice of the oppressed.
As the United Nations Celebrates 60th Anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 2008, Barack Obama’s election as President of US will herald a new era in world politics, strengthening the United Nations to maintaing peace and progress in the world

Congratulations Obama for making doubters eat their words. Your victory is momentous and historical, and was not an easy undertaking as you defeated not only Hillary Clinton but the entire Clinton Machinery. Bill Clinton is one of the most popular American presidents in the recent past so your victory must be seen in it's fullest context. You are only remaining with one more stumbling block "McCain" and he is not insurmountable. I believe you can do it, the world believes you can do it. You have our prayers Obama keep going.
